Major HTML Tags for SEO

Major HTML tags consider by Search engine crawler in a web page are:

  1. URL (domain name) of the site: Always try to book the domain name with the keyword required for the site.
  2. Page Name : Every page of the site must have relevant keyword specified.
  3. Title of a page: Title of the page must have a proper name of the page, using if possible specific term.
  4. Meta Title: Provide relevant title to the page.
  5. Meta Keyword: keyword field must define only keyword separated by the Comma.
  6. Meta Description: Description field should have only description about the site a proper description of about 50-100 words.
  7. H1 Tags (H1, H2, H3.... H6) : Properly define H1 and other title tags for the page.
  8. Links: Every link on a page must be properly define along with a Alt and Title tag.
  9. Image Alt: Every page on a page have an Alt tag define for it, it helps in SEO building as Crawler won’t see the image but always read the Alt tag defined for the image.
  10. Text of the Page: Last but not least the best part of the SEO is to provide your page a well drafted and a referenced text by using proper keywords. Always remember to follow the Keyword Density check for your text.
